His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, as recently approved the Federal Law No. 10 of 2017. The law contains provisions on employment of domestic workers in the UAE, including provisions about labor contracts, working hours, vacation leaves, participation of recruitment agencies and settlement of disputes. What domestic workers are entitled to, according to the new law. She claimed she hadn't known what was in the package. A woman was recently arrested at Abu Dhabi International Airport for smuggling psychotropic pills into the country. The Asian woman claimed she had been promised a visa in exchange for delivering the 1,300 pills, reported Al Bayan.
